Walk Through metal Detector
HI-PE Walk Through Metal Detector
The HI-PE Walk Through Metal Detector is a state of the art metal detection device that can be installed for security purposes. They have the ability to accurately detect all forms of metallic objects. Many advanced Security standards require precise detection all ferrous and non-ferrous metal weapons and also those that were made of materials of special non-metallic alloys. They come with a high level of discrimination which meet the compliance for latest security standards. This allows them not to give alarms for objects such as keys, Shoes, coins watches are so on. all these items will be ignored for their threat level is non existent
The HI-PE also has the ability to determine the full threat level of metallic weapons even if they are hidden deep in body cavities.
The HI-PE comes with a unique alarm system signalling system with a "4 Multi-Zone Display Bars, each programmable as entry Stop/Go and/or local alarm indication" and "High visibility of the control unit and the zone indication independent from the operator position and the installation environment". Others are
- Flexible Acoustic Alarm Signaling System
- 10 Acoustic Intensity Levels
- High Precision Transit Counter
The Metal Detector provides an automatic count of the people passing through the access point in both directions and the related nuisance alarm percentage.
They also come with some very powerful security features such as:-
-Up to 50 built-in Security Programs
-Chip Card system for fast, simple and secure parameter changes
-Any security standard can be enhanced with select-able random alarm probability
For communication, the means can be via Network connection, Infrared or Via bluetooth connections.
For installations that are outdoors, weather protective upgrade kits (IP65 kit) is provided for the Metal Detector equipment. Also, there are Anti-vandalism and Anti-Tampering protection kits available
A CCTV system may seem or look quite sophisticated or complex. There seems a lot of gadgets and gizmos all connected together to get the system running. However, it is a system too difficult to comprehend. The components that are put together to form the entire system are easy to get and easy to know.
Having a CCTV system comes with a lot of benefits. the presence of CCTV cameras have gone a long way in reducing cases of criminal activity and have also been able to keep good account of issues that have occurred. These systems are capable of providing video evidence that maybe required to issue claims or demands.
The important thing in having a successful of a CCTV system is to have a good education and understanding of the implementation plan in installing the system. This can be achieved by professionals.
The Components of a CCTV System
The basic components are explained below
Security Cameras are a very vital and important component of a CCTV system. There are different types of them and the can come with carious functions and specifications. There are many different security cameras on the market that are designed to support different applications and mounting option, and it is up to you to choose the security camera that best supports our installation requirements. Some of them are Infra-Red cameras (IR) and Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) cameras, dome camera, bullet camera, covert camera. The can also be Analog or Dynamic or hybrid based on the kind of signal they send out. Irrespective of the choice of cameras, they are suited for different environments. An Evaluation is needed to be done on each security camera type and their features. These features could include their resolution, power type, lens type, mounting option, or any other unique features that are relevant. For example for out door distant monitoring, a weatherproof outdoor box camera will be required for this kind of work.
2. Video Recorders
All the data being captured by the cameras need to be sent somewhere to be stored and managed. Hence, the use of video recorders is needed. It can also be said that this component of the CCTV system is the heart of the entire network. There are mainly on two types; The digital video recorders (DVRs) and The network video recorders (NVRs).
DVRs are analog signal absorbers and are usually connected to a single computer system, giving you secure direct access. They’re easy to use and have rapid video processing speed. The DVR usually come with software pre-loaded that gives you the ability to manage and configure each security camera one by one. These recording systems usually have channels in forms of 4, 8 ,16 channel configurations with every camera requiring a channel of its own.
The NVR is also a multi-channeled recorder. However unlike the DVR, the NVR makes use of network connections for signal acquisition. This makes remote access to database possible because anyone with network permission. The NVR also has the ability to record and replay videos simultaneously.
3. Display Unit
The third main component of the CCTV system is the Display Unit of the monitor. This is where the recorded data can be displayed or viewed. They can come in for of Liquid crystal display (LCD), light-emitting diode (LED) and thin-film transistor (TFT) monitors.
Other components are in form of cables( RG59 coaxial cable for DVR and RJ45 network cables for NVR), BNC Connectors and CCTV Power Supply
